Anika Besst

Anika Besst is a producer and reporter working for MPR News and APM Reports. She has contributed to coverage of the 2024 election, investigative projects and mental health issues.

Anika studied theatre arts and journalism with an emphasis of social justice at Hamline University in St. Paul, where she was the editor in chief of the student newspaper, The Oracle. Her work has also appeared in the Christian Science Monitor. Anika grew up in the northwest suburbs of the Twin Cities.
